The Lakeside Collection - Customer Service is poor, their site may be compromised.
I've ordered from them 3-5 times. Each time there were difficulties with one or more of their products. Each time it was pointless trying to contact customer service. But, I enjoyed browsing their catalouge and came back a few times. However, this last time was the final straw.
I ordered at the end of November for Christmas gifts and a handful of the order kept saying "pending". I received most of the order in time, but could not get a straight answer what was up with the other items. Customer service was a joke. A couple of the pending items ended up "out of stock" and never did figure out why I didn't get the other items. It would have been nice to know I would not be receiving these items so I could have gotten replacements gifts in time for Christmas.
The worst part: the card I used to pay online on their site is a credit card I rarely use. The last times they were used were to pay comcast and amazon which I've done plenty of times without issue. I work with computers for a living and know how to protect my computer.
Shortly after the transaction: SOMEONE HAD CHARGED THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS ON MY CARD! I'm fairly confident it was either a Lakeside employee or a *** on their site. Luckily, I caught it in time and cancelled my card and got those charges removed. They were online purchases so the vendors hadn't shipped the products out yet (to an address on the other side of the country).
Now I'm here writing this because I just got an email from Lakeside that I thought was spam with a mysterious pdf attachment that I'm not going to open. It appears to be from Lakeside itself, but still seems fishy. I'll attach a portion of the email to end this rant:

Um, yeah, I don't owe you anything and your customer service people are terrible and your site has probably been compromised.
Reason of review: Poor customer service.
Preferred solution: Let the company propose a solution.
